Riddle-In: A Riddle Designed To Keep People Focused On Torah #2

One is not allowed to send Mishloach Manos to an avel [Rema 796\6]. Under what circumstances is it permitted?

I am not sure if this is what you meant, but I believe that sending to the whole family is a way around this problem.

Since our custom is to
offer greetings during the 12 month period and mishloach manos is a form of a greeting maybe mishloah manos may be sent during avelus except during the period of Shiva.
