Sweetest friends! Before George Bush is "shooed" [pun intended] out of office he has been giving pardons. Please call the White House and leave a message asking him to free Jonathan Pollard - 202-456-1111. He reads his messages.
I am not sure he reads. By the way, and this is not at all an effort to stymie alleyways readers from calling, but I read in the Jewish Week (I believe) that J. Pollard turned down some opportunities for parole. He is insisting on being given a presidential pardon instead. I believe Gary Rosenblatt asked an important question: Is he trying to get out of jail or does he want to be a maryter.
Gilad Shalit should also be in our thoughts and prayers.
